[DeTomaso] Looking for 1971 seats

A few years ago I gave a pair of seats away for the cost of shipping, I guess it's like clothes if you hang on to stuff long enough it eventually comes back into fashion!

It's probably cheaper to find a ratty set for the frames and plan on getting new foam and covers.

Hi Curt

I'm guessing you probably are aware but there is a set of seats on ebay now
advertised for a 71 PB for 1200.00. I notice they have been on there
awhile with no bids. I think they have also been listed more than once, so
you might email the guy and see if he is interested in coming down. Never
hurts to ask and there is nothing wrong with bargain hunting if you have
the time.

I sold a set of driver- ready black 71 seats with headrests and
non-original cloth inlays on ebay just about a month ago for about 900
bucks. Which, price-wise is about where Mike is at with his market
prediction. If you dig around on craigslist or talk trade with guys on the
PI forum long enough I have been able to score some good buys.....but you
have to be patient and watch the web like a hawk.

If I see any other options besides what's been discussed here, I'll let you
know!

Cullen
