I am not a FB user but I agree that Ed is doing an outstanding job at trying to bring everyone in. Communication is key and being active in Social Media will bring more attention to the car line i.e. a new generation of automotive enthusiasts which we need. But the method needs to be easy and not a burden.
Michael is working on releasing a new site but I do have a question...why did the national club never opt for using vBullentin forum software. When I was active with Rx7's there was and still is the www.rx7club.com which uses that type of software.

I understand about the multiple posts, that would be my fault. :-) I'm the guilty party. I'm a Facebook over achiever I've been told.
Myself, I Like a few 100 pages, not all Pantera related, a lot of hot rod and chopper pages and other cool stuff. I get 1000s of posts daily but they go to my newsfeed. The posts that are done across several Pantera pages only go on your newsfeed and not on your own page. There are settings in FB to allow or disallow posts. You can limit the number. You can also subscribe or unsubscribe to which ever pages you want to.
I feel multiple pages has been a good idea; to saturate FB with Pantera stuff, this has in turn brought more publicity and recognition to our cars and has increased value.
It's also brought a worldwide group of us enthusiasts together. Heck I didn't know there was a Pantera Club of Japan or the likes of Junika Okada and the awesome work he does over there.
The point of my email was to get folks on FB if they aren't already and to ask each chapter to get active and promote their own FB page, this has and will grow membership. That's the bottom line - grow and get people interested. All the pages are there already (for the chapters)
So yea I sometimes post the same message to many of the groups and pages at the same time. So everyone does get it. All good, I'll try not to cross post so much. ;-)
Lack of unity is Facebook, but Facebook is a tool to unite all that love this car.
We even have a Twitter account I just don't have the time... @pocausa
