I was not bitching about Hagerty service, read, my comment was with regards to the Pantera slam writer.

I agree Larry. I have called Haggerty a few times, once at the 2012 Fun Rally in Phoenix when my radiator hose blew behind the drivers seat and another time when my break master self destructed. Both times they showed up in 30 minutes. The Haggerty dispatcher kept calling me ever 10 minutes to ask if the driver was there yet and then again when I was in the tow truck cab bringing it home. They are seriously concerned that you are taken care of. Once I needed a windshield replaced and they told me to go find whoever I wanted at any price and they sent me a check in 2 days. Thanks Les Gray for the great job installing the windshield.

Companies and there is only ONE that I can say anything nice about. I have
been with Haggerty for 30+ years. I have had several claims with them that
they have paid even though it was employees driving my Pantera¹s without
permission when I was traveling, and soccer moms backing into my car while
driving through parking lots. They have questioned, but they have never
denied paying a claim. I work with them in supplying parts to fix your
Pantera¹s too. They have never questioned an Invoice to a Customer or Body
shop that I have delt with. There is a large list of ³reputable² Insurance
Companies (including State Farm, Hartford, Zurich, and JC Taylor) that I
have fought through the claims process and Federal Court for years to pay
their stupid claims, but NOT HAGGERTY. Wait till you have a problem, then
tell me who actually stands behind their policies. Haggerty has for me.

The rest of the story seemed pretty close as far as I am aware of the
details, but the price average he mentioned is low for the ones we've
been seeing go at auction and other sales for the past year.
They didn't do us any favors here, but I'm sure they'll be happy to
raise your rates to do themselves a favor.
