Thanks for the replies

I have 18x9's on my front right now. There is slight rubbing on the inner fender wells.
I am trying to buy some new wheels for track day use and it is hard to get  same style wheels front and rear with the right offset.
It looks like I'll be going with Enkei GTC01RR's
Hope you all have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Mark

 Dear Mark,

I have one Pantera with front 17x9 and 245-17-45 (?) tires
and 5 degrees positive caster.  The other one has 17 x 9 wheels (both
wheels with offset and backspace per Pantera Performance Center specs)
using 255-17-40 (?) tires and 4 degrees positive caster.

Yes, the left front inner fender gets rubbed by the tire
at low speed full lock parking lots maneuvers.  They have done so for
about twenty years and it no big deal and is not an issue on the
twisties.  What is an issue with those sizes and increased caster and
stock fenders is the outside edge of the tire kissing the fender lip at
about 10 o'clock on the left and 2 o'clock on the right.

IMHO, I think that 18 x 9.5 wheels and appropriate tires
plus the amount of increased caster for high speed stability would be
the edge or slightly beyond what is possible.  I would think that
physical modification of the fender would be required.  That has been
done to mine and is very....discrete.

              Is this for ORR?

                            Warmest regards,  Chuck Engles
