[DeTomaso] Wheel offset

I tried some 9" wide wheels on my stock bodied 1973 L model, with a
neutral offset (to center it in the wheel well) and for me, the
clearance was too tight. Others on the list told me how at full wheel
lock, 9" wheels caused tires to rub on the inner wheel wells, so I
abandoned that. In fact, even with 8" wheels I had evidence of tire
rub. Clearance to the outer fender lip is also questionable, but I had
   rolled fender lips.
I personally would avoid 9.5" on the front.

Is anyone using an 18x9.5 wheel on the front of a narrow body Pantera?
If so what is the wheel offset? Do you have any issues? What size tire
   are you using?
   Thanks,
   Mark
