[DeTomaso] Redesign of the GT5-S

I had always thought these additions to be an Amerisport effort. I love the Si (and GT5S), but can't say this car appeals to me in any way, it is almost neither of the aforementioned and the white on white on white just does zero for the lines of the car IMO. There is perhaps a reason this car remains for sale when other GT5S cars have been snapped up!

I think I remember reading that these changes were installed on the last 3
imported to the US. None of the 3 are located in Europe, and I don't believe
any Euro-cars had this configuration

Jim,

I believe it was a joint effort. Kirk's design but built in Modena. It
presaged the Pantera Si, which was ostensibly designed by Gandini but seemed
to borrow a lot from Kirk's design!
