I've driven/ridden in many a Pre-L and L cars, and I've never noticed a
discernable difference in wind noise, nor have I heard/read anything about
lack of wind noise being a benefit of the L bumper. I vote for malarkey.

I will go on the record that my chrome bumpers do not stop wind noise above
120 MPH. Is it just me?
