PS - if you read the attachment, you'll see that there is basically NO
   savings by changing printers.A
According to the quotes received, the $8000 savings was not correct.A

A A Thank you very much, Judy.
A A I really wish this thread would just die.
   A A I know that this isn't the answer you're fishing for, but it'll
   have to
   A A do
   A A since it's the truth.
A A Nancy quit and took her associate (me) with her because she was
   tired
   A A of
A A hearing from me all about Shortt's efforts to take over every
   aspect of
   A A POCA.
A A I didn't fight her decision because I was in turn tired of
   Shortt's
A A intimidation and bullying tactics. Frankly, being on the Board
   wasn't
   A A fun
A A anymore and I was also very tired of Shortt's constant preening.
A A As a matter of record, I resigned from the Board BEFORE Profiles
   #3
   A A even
A A went to the printer. I had nearly finished it and decided that I
   didn't
   A A want
A A to let the POCA members down. I really didn't want to contribute
   any
   A A more to
A A Shortt's regime, but my conscience won.
A A Even after I sent the magazine in, I still had to deal with
   Shortt. He
A A decided to interfere with the printer, sent them a database with a
   A A whole
A A bunch of problematic info and threaten nonpayment if he didn't get
A A preliminary proofs. How do I know this? I received a call while I
   was
   A A at
A A work from the woman working in Allegra Printing's mail room. She
   called
A A Shortt and he wouldn't help her with the database and ignored her
   A A questions.
A A Having no one else to call, she called me. I in turn contacted
   Judy,
   A A our
A A Membership Director, who fixed the problems that Shortt created.
A A Regarding Shortt's allegations of graft, if anyone can find a
   A A connection
A A between my family and anyone who EVER worked at Allegra Printing
   in
   A A Reno,
A A Nevada, (or indeed any of Allegra's branches) please let me know.
A A My Dad might respond as well, but he's been pretty busy caring for
   my
A A SERIOUSLY ill Mom who was in the hospital for the last two weeks
   and
   A A who
A A might finally be able to come back home in a couple more.
A A Now, can we finally put this "controversy" to rest?
