My early '71 A (#1488) also only has one red light for the
  Ebrake/shuttle valve switch.
Was the wear sensor discussed wired to the Girling calipers or somehow
  tied into the shuttle valve?

    Hey Joel,
My pushbutton only has one of these bezels and it is for the parking
    brake.
Perhaps someone slipped in another one on your car. If it is wired,
    trace where the wiring goes.
If it is not used, you could use it for a low fuel warning light.
There is no warning light on the early Veglia gauges. If your sender
has a light wire, now you have a place to connect it.
