[DeTomaso] A G50 Porsche gearbox on a De Tomaso Pantera ?

Someone had/has one for sale on the Facebook page.  Has to be installed upside down in a mid engine configuration, IIRC there were some mods done to the transaxle to make it more compact and/or accommodate mid engine shift linkage.

    assembly.A
    Does it support the much bigger torque than with a Porsche engine ?A
