[DeTomaso] Best Capet Kit for front?

I inherited a polypropylene carpeted interior and front compartment.
It looks pretty nice when freshly vacuumed BUT.
It picks up a charge at any excuse and then it attracts crap from miles 
away, and I live in a high R.H. area.
Anti-static spray does help some, but doesn't last and the spray wanders 
away onto all the surfaces you just polished.

It hasn't made me cranky enough to rip it out though.
