[DeTomaso] Tom Upton's Pantera on cover April Victory Lane Magazine

Tom Upton was racing that weekend.  The CVAR driving school (which I attended) is held concurrently with the CVAR races.  The drivers-in-training are just kept in an isolated run group where they can't get into too much trouble and are cycled on track in between the actual race groups.    Dave Bell

The photo was related to the CVAR Driver's school at TWS, I assume that as Tom is a seasoned racer he was perhaps an instructor? The article is actually one of the sample articles at the link I provided, but no further mention of Tom or his Pantera, it just focused on the novice drivers graduating the school.

Dear Julian:  Thanks for sharing.  IIRC, VL is not available at
news-stands, only be subscription.  Was there an article, too, or just
