[DeTomaso] Pantera and 351C mechanical fuel pumps

Dear Bill "Power Monger" Gaino and Jack,


              Bill, I already have one on my Mk III engine.  The current 
engine build is of more modest power production and requires a less 
potent (and expensive!) fuel pump.  I also require one that permits AN 
fittings for the AN plumbing.  The stock style Carter won't work with AN 
fittings, AFAIK, and the the McRobb Perfomance unit will readily work 
with AN fittings and will meet ALL fuel capacity needs, but at a price 
too high for this engine.


              Jack,  AFAIK,  "hipo" dates back some decades and is a 
contraction of "High Power" or "High Powered".   I seem to recall that 
it was more associated with Ford engines from the sixties and seventies, 
than Chevy, but I am not sure.
