Oops. I went back a checked my gauge and I was reading off the 5m line.  The 6m stud I measured  is a 1.0 pitch. True. 0.8 pitch is standard M5 coarse thread. Typo by Jim perhaps? Yep! Now I am hunting for 6m 1.0 32mm.

The fasteners are to attach the air cleaners to my TWM throttle body induction.   I could not find air cleaners that would fit as I have the 2900 series and the fuel rail is mounted high between the stacks.  I bought extensions to clear the fuel rails. The induction system is currently at the machine shop where they are custom making the air cleaners using  Mercedes 300 K&N filters.   I need the longer studs to go from the extensions through the bottom air cleaner plate and the air horns with plenty of threads to make sure the a nut does not get sucked into the engine. Larger studs will then clamp the K&N elements between the top and bottom plates.
Where are the TWM products manufactured?

And for you skeptics out there, the world is dragging the USA inch by inch into the metric system.
