True.  NASA (at least JPL) uses metric system for the most part.  And UTC time.  ;-)   Love it!!

Funny you said that, Mikael!  I was just telling my husband to convert
distances to meters because after so many years in the US, I still straggle
with feet and yards!

We have plenty of metric fasteners in Europe. In fact there are plenty of
metric fasteners in the rest of the world. It's only Burma, Liberia and the
US that hasn't formally accepted the superiority of the metric system.

length.
  Looked in all the usual places and can't get a match. Anyone know of
good sources for metrics?  Do the international folks have sources?
