Give it time. Bad habits designed to give manufacturers more control for
the detriment of the "consumer" with the tacit backing of governments are
coming.

Thing Windows 10 forced updates you cannot turn off in the name of security
and piracy prevention applied to your car for "safety upgrades" so that
insurance companies can screw you better. Automatic speeding tickets, etc.
