[DeTomaso] Corvette C4 seats in a Pantera

I would suggest either get a bulkhead reduction kit from Kirk Evans (Amerisport) that eliminates the hump on the passenger side and incorporates fast access to the engine (no need for full bulkhead panel removal) or as the Corvette seats are plastic frame, offset the seat to the outer rocker to allow it to be positioned further back. Personally I didn't use seat runners on the '74, the seats are bolted directly to the floor; no-one drives it but me and why would passengers need to move the seat forward?
 
Similarly in the GT5 where I have Lotus Elise seats the passenger seat does not come with any runners/adjustability per Lotus design. Those seats actually clear the hump as they are quite narrow, despite that I recently got a bulkhead reduction kit to allow access without the hassle of removing the seats and bulkhead cover.

Hey you guys with the C4 seats--
Had these in my car and loved them but the passenger seat didn't clear
the firewall bulge and so my passengers had to ride with their knees
up their nose. Ended up using the C4 only for the driver's side but
the car just didn't look right.  I went back to running the stock ones
with sheepskins, which has been okay but I miss the comfy C4.   What
did you guys do about the bulge/clearance problem? John
