[DeTomaso] Fiero seats in a Pantera

Thanks Jeff. I just want to point out that more than a little design and fabrication went into those adapter bars. First off, they are not interchangeable, passenger and driver side. The passenger side is offset to avoid interference with the parking brake handle enclosure (aided by a redesign of the pivot bolt to gain more clearance). So, FWIW, installing Fiero seats in a Pantera is a little more involved than what it may seem like. Also, you may be able to pick up a little headroom by eliminating the spacers under the stock sliders, and, of course, there’s always the option of dropping the floor pans it you are particularly long in the torso.

These are MrMikes covered Fiero seats that I was going to put in my car (since sold), but discovered (too late) that I was too tall! You lose 2 3/8" of head room over the stock seats, so take that into account. These seats were in near mint condition prior to recovering and have only been trial fitted in a car - like new condition. They come with custom fabricated adapter bars which will bolt directly to stock sliders - plug and play. They also have the speakers in the headrests (first two years of Fiero production only) and come with the pigtail connectors. Boxed and ready to ship. If interested, email me directly at: dakelm at qwest.net Fiero seats were made for Pontiac by the Lear Corp (the jet people) and are excellently constructed.

BTW, the Fiero seats are very comfy. Dougs look like the spacer adapters are very well thought out and made.
