[DeTomaso] Yates C3

They look like Cleveland heads but all but the very first require expensive shaft rocker arm systems.  The very first C3 heads are a lot like C320b heads (i.e., canted valves).  Some time in the 90s, Ford got rid of the canted valves, but they remained staggered like Cleveland heads.  The first non-canted C3 heads have stepped pads for the rockers (till the very late 90s).  In the very early 2000's (or late 90s) Ford changed to a continuous flat surface for mounting the rocker arms.
The later D3 heads went back to canted valves.
They are sold with small ports with thick walls, and the teams work their magic to get the best flow they can.  You have to be careful buy these heads because they can be really messed up by someone experimenting with port designs.
