Julian,
One of the largest road salt mines is under Lake Erie. They salt the roads
to the death of the cars here. You can fix most anything, but rust will get
you in the end.
I see PA cars listed as good Ohio car. There inspection is much much harder
then ours. I don't think it is always the motor as the problem.
Most of the time I would think the wind is coming out of the west and not
off the ocean???

The salt air has to be a whole lot worse than Ohio! I'm assuming OH doesn't
salt the roads heavily in winter?
You may be able to get a temp plate from your local DMV, that is what I did
when I purchased a truck in KY, when in with the VIN etc. an they issued a
30 day permit.
A "cannot be sold in x state" usually means it cannot meet the state
requirements for emissions inspection, for a 2003 Jag that would indicate to
me that the 100,000 miles has taken it's toll on the engine.
Ford owned them then!

Hi Guys,
My daily driver just died to the northern cancer, Rust! The frame is no
more with only 270,000 miles for a 1995 RIPices my friend.
I am looking at a 2003 Jag X-type, 5 speed manual, 100,000 miles, in
Baltimore, Maryland.
Questions:
How are cars for RUST in Baltimore, Maryland?
Cannot be sold in Maryland.hmmm kinda odd, why?
How do you get a temp plate there so I can drive it home?
Any positive or negative comments on the Jag? (Ford owned them then)
Thanks guys,
Larry (sad) - Cleveland
