Yup. Totally hokey addition of an electric fuel pump. Line to the rear is the 12v inside a sheath, I assume. 

If you started with a nice pushbutton, then added up all the costs for parts, labor and paint to turn it into this GT5, that would probably approximately match the subsequent loss of value of the car. 

$100k pushbutton plus $40k conversion cost equals $60k GT5. It will be interesting to see if I'm right when the car sells?

Note that this is an early Euro car, 1077, which would have been built lacking the critically needed chassis reinforcements which Ford subsequently retrofitted to the early '71 cars sold in the USA. While spending all the money on bling and BS, what do you think the chances are that the builder also addressed the chassis inadequacies?
