[DeTomaso] Longchamp GTS

What did GTS mean? AFAIK only wheels and fenders were different. No more power, no better handling. The engine moved backward and the improved steering came on all 3XXX Longchamps, GTS or not‎. So did GTS give anything besides wheels and fender bulges?

I have been keeping a Longchamp registry for 13 years and have tracked down 21 of them with the first ones coming out in 1980 or 1981. My guess is there was maybe twice that many built.

I know there we only 409 made in total, 395 coupes and 14 convertibles
and
that the GTS model didn't come about until the 80's when production
was
really, really, really slow,
like maybe less than 5 a year, production was
72 A - A 89, I bet there
were no more than 20 -30 of them.
