[DeTomaso] trunk latch not catching

Sorry, I was thinking rear lid, you need the energy cable first and
foremost.
The pin on the hood will bend before it breaks, that is not a good option,
because a new pin install requires some welding if done right.
The catch is slightly adjustable, you can sludecit up and retighten.
I have a single new one left if you need one.
But take it off, clean it, live it and reinstall. Also check the
weatherstip seal gasket, if it has shifted up, it will not close ever.
