         I am very proud and honored to forward the candidacy statement for Ms. Judy McCartney for the office of Membership Director of POCA.

> I’m Judy McCartney, the incumbent Membership Director.  I’m running for re-election to the position
> I’ve held on the POCA Board for many years. I have owned my 1972 Pantera for over 40 years, and have made a very wide circle of friends because of my wonderful car and my position as POCA Membership Director. You can say that the DeTomaso community is very close to my heart, and that’s one of the big reasons I really want to continue serving POCA in this position.

> especially our foreign membership. I have tried to establish personal rapport with all new and returning
> members, which I believe is an important and enjoyable aspect of this position.

> Since none of us lives forever and continuity is a must, I’ve made it a project to train a couple of “unofficial” assistants to help understand computer issues in the very large database (42 years of history and 4,600 records) and to understand how to handle the many day-to-day issues that I find so challenging and interesting.

> that I can continue to do so if you re-elect me to the job.
