I wouldn't trust glues. I drilled two countersunk holes in the plate and used nuts, black-coated flathead screws & two tubing loop-clamps around the rear swaybar. The tightness of the clamps is such that the plate hangs straight up and down but can be pivoted if necessary- like when using the crossmember as a jack-point.
