I agree with all except keeping it private, member names and contact info,
sure.
But IMHO, the way to grow desirability, drive up femand, increase values
is to educate and inform.
If every guy who was interested in owning could access and learn, we'd have
a smarter, informed owner base over time.
I constantly preach that we are merely caretakers, just today I thought of
all the people who have owned and died ( everybody in these boxes is dead)
or simply those I have given rides to that have passed away.
Our cars still suffer from misinformation about overheating issues from one
Press test session 44 years ago because the stupid LM dealer didn't know
how to prep the cars.
IMHO, keeping it private hurts the effort.
They ain't gonna make any more, 5,244 were imported, my guess is,that at
least 1,500 are trashed and another few hundred went back across the pond
or to other locales.
If 2,500 of the remaining 3,500 are in running order, I'd be shocked silly.

As I understand it, POCA membership is way less than half of that, so if
I'm elected President, my goal would be to unify the owners and seriously
make an effort to reach out and locate every car and sign them up.

POCA does not have any official database of documents as far as I
know. Would be cool if we did.
Jeff and I were woking on a new website for POCA that would have had

Be cool, if we can all scan all the documents and literature that we
have collectively and post them on the website, for members only of
     course.
