[DeTomaso] Opinion on black Friday DeWalt tool chest at Home Depot

I find that floor-space is very much a premium in the garage - so have been
hanging things on the wall for a long time. The attached shows the 3rd or
4th iteration of storage for wrenches and socket ratchets, etc. Problem is
one always needs more than one of each size box-open wrenches, so they are
stacked on the hangers.

I have another, smaller board for pliers and cutters I use often. And
short-drawer filing cabinets for more tools - can never have enough tools!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING! Off for a drive in 5332!!!

Stephen Nelson

Hi Ken,

It looks nice on the photos, but so does my car...

I do not like the real tall tool boxes as it is hard to look down at the
sockets to pick the one I want. I like the feel of good ball bearing drawers
when there is a lot of weight in them. If you move the box around the shop
like I do good casters are a must. Most of the time I replace the ones on
stuff today.

The price looks good.

This looks pretty good, and I can get a 10% veteran's discount:

Any opinions?  I need to get my tools organized better.  I assume it isn't
actually made by DeWalt, but they are suppose to make quality tools, and I
hope they would not license their name to junk.
Thanks,
Ken
