[DeTomaso] Pushbutton Door Locks

I remember like it was yesterday, talk of a "pushbutton" and one of the PCNC guys asking "pushbutton transmission?"
Anyway, I always assumed it was the same hardware as the Fiat 850, only because the era is about the same. Wrong?
