[DeTomaso] Fwd: What Headers match new Edelbrock 2V Performer RPM Heads ... ?

Some of the other cylinder head manufacturers like TFS have raised exhaust
ports but the Edelbrock 351C-2V heads have the exhaust port in the stock
location, see:

http://www.edelbrock.com/automotive/mc/cylinder-heads/ford/performer-rpm-351c.shtml

"Exhaust port location: Stock"

None of the Cleveland headers designed for front engined cars will fit the
Pantera. Larry Stock at the Pantera Parts Connection carries 351C-2V
Pantera headers:

Part Number 10026P Headers, PPC 351C-2V 4 tube with 1.75" diameter
primaries, coated $595.00
Part Number 10025P Headers, PPC 351C-2V 4 tube with 1.75" diameter
primaries, uncoated $395.00

They are made by Hedman and available only through Larry. I ran a set on a
351C with Australian closed chamber 2V heads in my Pantera years ago. Some
blurry pictures are on Mike Dailey's website:

http://panteraplace.com/Pantera%20Pics/2V%20header%20left.jpg
http://panteraplace.com/Pantera%20Pics/2V%20header%20right%202.jpg
http://panteraplace.com/Pantera%20Pics/2V%20header%20right%20%201.jpg

It looks like the flange on the headers pictured are for 4V heads but it's
hard to tell. Pantera headers designed for 351C-4V heads should bolt up
and seal against the Edelbrock heads but will have a larger port opening.
I've not measured 2V and 4V bolt hole locations but there's no way there is
an 1 1/2" difference. That's more like the difference between Ford
Motorsport high port heads and 2V/4V heads. If those headers worked on a
previous 351C in that Pantera but are now off by 1 1/2" when bolted to the
Edelbrock heads on the same block, something else is wrong. The resolution
of the attached pictures is too low to tell but what sort of block is
that? Is it aluminum? If it's a 9.5" deck Windsor or race block, that
would explain the problem as the Cleveland has a 9.2" tall deck.

I think my friend just needs some correct Pantera Headers?
