If you decide to go with 295/40-15 tires you can get them from Summit Racing.

Subject: [DeTomaso] More tire talk about GT-5 Front tires
Appreciate all the comments and direction for my new tire needs.
Been in contact with Tom Homan at Longstone Classic Tires in England.
Was quizing him about the difference between the width of the TB5
285/40-15 and the TB15 295/40-15. The full tread tire comes closer to
matching the current Yoko's and I would prefer it for street use. I
have been warned that the 295 may have clearance problems with the
fender flairs needing to be trimmed about 1/4 inch. After some
discussion he has recommended the 275/45-15 as a fit to the rims and the
fenders.
The 275 is 15mm taller at 625 vs 610mm but the section width is 268mm
vs 288mm. That equates to me to be .60 in taller and .80 in narrower.
Anyone tried this size with success? Significant difference in stance
and look?
They do carry the 345/35-15 in both TB5 and TB15 in case I have to get
new rears also.
The tires are a long ways away and still a significant cost. Would like
to be right the first time.
Any comments or thoughts?
Can't stand a blow out,
jerry knotts
