Most modern cars have  anti-skid / stability controls to prevent exactly this-- I wonder if he turned it off because he felt he didn't need any electronic nannies.

It’s difficult not to laugh when you watch those videos (especially when only
someone’s ego is hurt), but it sure make one realize how quickly and easily
things can go wrong, doesn’t it.
