[DeTomaso] You want Pantera Content... okay here goes...

Laurie,
Since I am a redneck on a farm --- I put a shot of starting fluid in the
air cleaner and when I get in the car I give it one pump on the gas
pedal to squirt the accelerator pumps and start the motor. Generally
when it is cold it requires a few more pumps to stabilize the idle after
it has barked off. My carb Panteras don't have choke plates so in the
winter this is the norm.
I have never tried it on a roots type supercharger but assume it would
work also.

Pretty bummed that I didn't get my Pantera drawn by the wonderful
artist Deven Hitchens. Another Pantera got drawn though : )
BTW I want us all to commission him to be at the next Fun Rallye....
he does amazing drawings, free hand, about a half hour per drawing.
Check him out, he has several pages and is on Facebook.

Who has interesting suggestions on cold starting a supercharged engine
with Electromotive Ignition and Webers?
It loves to start immediately when it's a bit warmed up outside but a
little testy early in the morning when I want to get to one of these
shows that starts before 7 a.m. Keep in mind it doesn't snow here...
40's to 60's is about the morning temp.
I've already gotten some handy advice from one VIP but I'd be open to
hearing other opinions if you're knowledgeable about such a set up.
