[DeTomaso] ZF Ratios and Specs

The taller 5th gear is a great upgrade. Especially if you have an engine which delivers . Great dollar value.

For what its worth, when I visited Dennis Quella a few years ago, he told me the same thing. The biggest bang for the buck was the taller 5th gear; don't bother changing the ring and pinion. But he said if I really wanted a taller R&P he'd be happy to sell me one.
If/when I ever have my ZF serviced, I'll go with the 5th gear change.
