[DeTomaso] Fuel injection system and brakes question

Thank you for the advice Michael. I am quite dead set for a fuel injection
system but would entertain the idea of a new brake system. Was the Wilwood
in the $3k range ?

The mention of the rumble is worrying me. Are you saying that the sound
would be weakened by the injection system ? I thought that was mostly the
exhaust. It is important to maintain the sound, I enjoy listening to it and
it has the added satisfaction factor of pissing off my Toyota driving
neighbors.

Also I would need to do the safety wiring of the transaxle and probably
replace the always smelling gas tank (presume a crack in the neck of the
tank) and probably replace the radiator.

Does replacement of the gas tank require the engine removal ?

I need to seriously work on the car to prevent it from getting me killed so
new brakes are a definite priority.
