Sorry Kevin. Me and MANY others have NO CLUE what you are talking about??? If you have a beef, maybe
give more details and FACTS. Facts… those things that substantiate your claims??

Hi All
For what its’ worth we have been treated poorly by some of the POCA people even after the fun run. We (Durland Productions) tried very hard to make the 2014 fun run event, but from what I have heard, POCA was still very upset at us (once again referencing only Durland Productions and the Multimedia show) and considered us a “pain” .
Llynne and I continue to try not to “bitch” about the shortfalls and pettiness of some of those at POCA. Even still we were recently treated as if we were trying to “rip them off” for our club renewal fees, this of course was not because we were a late payment, but the fact POCA uses web based /Credit card /and or payment technology that predates the cars in our club.
If anyone out there know us we have always said that it worth while to support POCA and SDP or any other Pantera club whole heartedly!!! We should ALL consider any kind of Pantera infrastructure valuable.
And for POCA to consider us less then straight up with them when it came to our club dues was almost too much, but once again I had to consider that it was just the cost of a tank of gas so we basically paid it twice.
AND BY GOD! CLUB FEES ARE LESS THAN A TANK OF GAS!
I am tired of being treated as if I should be in the AMC club. Or worse,………………………….
So in Shortt I hope Someone steps up and just is straight with us all.

Hey y'all....
This is a difficult email for me to write as I am concerned about the ethics of your chapter president urging you to vote for a certain candidate for POCA President. However, I will share with you my first hand experience with candidate Michael Shortt and advise you that I feel he is the best person to elect to this very important office.
I have read all of Michael's candidacy statements and I urge you to do the same. I have spoken with many who know Michael personally and I have spoken to Michael and inquired of him his vision for POCA into the last half of this decade and why he feels he is the best person to re-float this grand organization from the leaking ship it has become. I know of no other more passionate person regarding the Pantera than Michael. His love for the car, its owners and fellow POCA club members seems unequaled. Again, I will direct you to his candidacy statements so you may glean for yourself the type of Pantera person that he is and why he should be our new POCA President.
I will share with you why "I" think Michael would be the best person for this job. He is simply appalled at what our POCA board has become in the last several years. Here are just a few examples of that conduct:
~~~We have had Board members purposely and personally insulting its own members and not caring if those members resigned due to that treatment. Our chapter knows first hand how callous 'we' have been treated for doing absolutely nothing wrong. POCA lost 108 members in 2014 (over 10 percent of its membership) and many of those departures were due to rude treatment by POCA board members.
~~~We had a manipulation of the election last year to assure that Mike Drew would not win re-election as Profiles editor.
~~~We all know first hand how difficult POCA was to deal with when we produced the POCA Fun Rally last year. From having absolutely no budget to work with to rude treatment of our members to out of control egos, this experience was a fiasco for our chapter when it should have been ours AND POCAs time to shine.
~~~The secrecy that this board practices is frankly unlawful in my opinion. The POCA bylaws state that any member at any time can sit in on any board of directors meetings. To this date, no members have been allowed to do so. The continued secrecy regarding the finances that belong to all POCA members continues to exist regardless that the bylaws state that we are to receive periodic and accurate accounting of those finances.
The reason I urge your support of Michael is because I know that he feels the same way about the current POCA Board as our chapter does in regards to these injustices that continue to be practiced. I feel that if 'anyone' can bring a change to these out of date policies and rude behavior, it is Michael. Not only does he have the passion of being a knowledgeable Pantera owner but he also has the business experience which this current board so desperately needs.
The other candidate running for POCA President is Rob D'Orazio. Rob has been a member of POCA for 16 years and has been President of the Foothills Panteras chapter for 12 years. I am sure that Rob is very qualified and would make a great President.
In closing, I could not tell you who is the best candidate between these two men. What I CAN tell you is that I know first hand that Michael Shortt shares the same frustrations about this current board that our chapter does and he has assured me that if elected, he will try to bring changes to this board to bring it into the 21st century, finally, and he will also bring some civility to this board that it has lacked for so many years.
ALSO....whoever you DO vote for, remember that as a dues paying member, you also have an associate member that is eligible to vote. Please make sure that vote does not go to waste!! Please vote for the persons that you feel will achieve the best for our club and our members!!
Happy Halloween!!!!
