1. Yes, that's the mirror. 

2. Yes, those tacky glue on mirrors look like they came from the Honda Tuner crowd. Get rid of them. I think the Ford Mustang/Galaxy mirrors are the way to go!
I have an extra pair of used ones if you want to try one and see how it looks before committing to purchasing new ones.
