Yes, yes, yes. Thank you Ed Nagel !
Also thank you "Ken" and Lisa, and Mike and Lori for stopping.
Special thanks to Susanne for all she has put up with on our adventure from Alberta to Texas.

Hi guys,

Kjetil and Lisa, and Lori and I were the last ones to leave the pig roast for the 1.25 hr drive back to the hotel. About 15 miles out in the middle of nowhere, we came across Bill from Calgary, broken down on the side of the road in a driveway for a ranch field.

We stopped naturally, and after some quick evaluations we discovered one of his CV joint driveshafts had come unglued. Good news is, it's a simple fix to bolt on stock driveshafts for the drive home, and there are plenty of spares lying around in the area. Bad news is, the car won't go until you install them.

Bill had called for a tow but AAA couldn't come up with a truck late on a Sunday night. So in desperation, he called on local good guy Ed Nagel. Ed got out of bed, got in his truck, fetched his trailer and drove out to meet us.

With Lori steering and the rest of us pushing, we had the car lined up with the trailer in no time:

Ed scrabbled around on the ground and got the car hooked up and winched onto the trailer quick-style, and we were on our way to the hotel.

I love the spirit of cooperation that exists among this fraternity!

We got to the hotel at 2 am, time for bed!

Mike
