Ed,
Call Steve Strope. I talked to him once about repairing a magnesium wheel,
and he knows a person that can weld, and refurbish a mag rim.
Call me if you need his number.
Cheers !

He

A A I worked with magnesium in the lab when I was in college. The
problem
A A with trying to weld it is when it gets
A A heated ti high temps it ignites. It is what is used in military
night
A A time illumination flares. It burns extremely hatA and can't be
put out
A A using conventional fire suppression means , It will burn in an
A A atmosphere of Nitrogen,Carbon Dioxide, and under water. It must
be
A A covered with sand to deprive it of any atmosphere. It can burn
at temps
A A as high as 5610 degrees F. So this is not something that you
want to
A A fool around with.
A A Check this sight or j ust google welding and repairingA
Campagnolo
A A magnesium wheel. Good Luck , Your going to need it!
