[DeTomaso] NPT Hydrogen powered Toyota

According to my friend who is the public relations officer of Toyota North America, one of the biggest obstacles is that we are a world that is based on "heavier than air " fuels.  That is why building codes can allow electrical receptacles to be 48" above the floor in garages.  "Lighter than air" fuels present special problems with ceiling mounted light fixtures and other arc devices like ceiling fans.  Several years ago Toyota would not sell them to private parties for this reason.  They loaned them to greenies to drive but they had to truck them full of fuel to their houses and then pick them up because there was not the infrastructure to support refueling and they did not have the range to do otherwise.  Maybe now they have worked out methods to deal with the VERY tiny molecules of hydrogen and all the problems they pose.
