[DeTomaso] Driving to the Fun Rally?

Dear Bill,

If it was easy, then it would be a trip and could be done in a Toyota. Given the convergence of the challenges, it has become an adventure and one you and the right seat speed controller will remember for a long time. Those thousand mile trips in the rain are always memorable, but not pleasant.

                       Philosophically yours, Chuck Engles

Remind me again, who's *^&$in idea was it to drive to Houston ?Arrived Castle Rock from Billings, through the drizzle, rain, sleet, snow, and pounding rain. No wipers , no heater / defroster. The right seat speed controller thinks I have work to do tomorrow. Living on the edge.

Cheers,

Yes it does happen, if I recall correctly there was one Pantera owner that plowed through a 8x4 sheet of blockboard one year that fell off a truck, with some reultant damage to the frontal area of his Pantera.

Agreed another big benefit of WAZE is that it lets people mark when there is debris on the road. Just yesterday driving home from work I had a warning 6 miles ahead that there was something on the road. It turned out to be a tractor trailer tie that was in pieces all over the road. Would hate to hit any of it with my Pantera.
