I do not get all the politics, but being as I have stock seats and belts it works in my favor. Not very often that happens.

I have asked the question. That's the way TDS has their rules set up.

As for the aftermarket systems, those rules come from SVRA, CVAR, SCCA, etc.
And they hold firm on those rules.

Check out the Simpson website and the like. Very clear what the regulations are.
