It is sometimes good to tout products which are of good quality.

I had a Tilton pump I was going to use for the ZF cooler. It is a bit
pricy. In a pinch I took the pump and hooked it up to my TIG cooler. I am
not sure it was even suppose to be used for water. In the water I put in
some of the rest preventive we use for the water table and parts tumbler.

The rust preventer gelled up and locked the pump. These were all bad
decisions on my part. Needing the cooler I was able to break it free and
get it going. I did this more then a half dozen times. To free it I pulled
off the back and the fan and chuck it up to a drill until it is free
enough to run on it's own.

I have supplied power numerous times when the motor was not running. I
abused this pump and did everything wrong. I am changing the pump now. It
still runs. It makes some noise (a lot of noise) and it leaks but it still
runs and it still pumps.

My hats off to Tilton for making a pump that still runs after the things I
have done to it.

Gary
