[DeTomaso] Rear accessory engine bay brace

Getting in on this way late, but my two cents are:

1) The 'lower upper' rear brace is probably the best part of the Hall kit.
I bought the entire kit back in the 90's and, because my car was my daily
driver, the kit got installed one piece at a time.
I've told the story a lot, but there was a diagonal dip across one street I
frequented and I had gotten used to having steer the car through the dip.
It wanted to 'go places'. I already had the square 'upper upper' brace that
replaces the stock bar, but once the 'lower upper' brace was installed, the
next morning drive to work was a wakeup, literally. As I approached the
diagonal dip, habit made me start to auto correct for what I knew the car
would do going through the dip.
I almost went over the curb.... The car just drove straight through the
dip! Amazing!
And I hadn't even put the triangular bracing between the two in yet...
I think, as Gary says, that the wheel housings have no support for the rear
mount of the A-arm and the rear of the wheel housing just flexes. Thereby
changing your toe-in/out while driving. The small 'lower upper' brace fixes
that very nicely.

2) I agree with Julian. I'm not sure the upper front does a whole hell of a
lot... other than take up space.

3) I bought the 'lower upper' stand alone from Hall for the race car about
a year ago. She did say they had a limited stock due to the same reasons
stated. Their supplier had quit doing them.

4) I had cracks appear in my rear tail light areas and they were growing.
Once I installed the chassis kit, they stopped growing. Got them repaired
and so far, no cracks. I can't comment on the upper cracks. Quella did his
'star' reinforcement thing back when I had the car restored in 1984. I
haven't had any cracks appear there.

5) Dylan has the Byers chassis kit with the round 'upper upper' rear and I
agree with Mike Drew. The square type fits into the opening better and you
can actually push on the wheel house instead of relying only on slots in
the tabs.

OK, I'll crawl back in my corner now.

Oddly, they no longer show the whole kit on the website. They only
