[DeTomaso] ZF differential housing bolts

After I posted, I remembered the agony of working on Japanese motorcycles in the '60s with their cheese-headed phillips screws that always rounded out. Never tried my hand-held impact driver from those days on ZF's half height allens....I wonder? My diffs are all torn down & replaced with good allens. Cheers- J Deryke

Jack,
I used some vise grips this morning after remembering the last time and
I removed all of them without issue. Your method is spot on. I replaced all of
the bolts last time with regular socket bolts and will again this time. I have
no idea why ZF used such crappy bolts.
