[DeTomaso] Anyone buy One of the New Pantera racks on ebay from San Diego?

Jim,

Just curious--what did the Ferrari specialist charge to rebuild your Dino rack?

I ask because I have one junk rack in my collection that was rebuilt by a Ferrari 'professional' at a cost of $1000. He over tightened both toe rods so badly that the teeth on the rack wore out and then one of the tie rods snapped!  When I received I literally couldn't move the other one and it had been on a car for thousands of miles. 

If I was in the business of charging people $1000 plus to overhaul their racks, I would advise them to avoid the $119 new ones too!!!! :)
