About 15 years ago, an Oxygen/welding supply company has a place at the track here, built or re-fabricated a golf cart with a Honda Goldwing motor.
It had a lot of giddy-up.

I think it will do about 30 but I have not actually driven it yet. The rear end came out of a Cushman Haulster. It had a 2-speed gear box directly bolted to the rear end. It was designed to reduce the speed in half.

I got another pinion off ebay, reversed the gear box and made it a doubler:
