[DeTomaso] Steering rack collapsible column fix

I took my collapsible apart under the dash to retrieve the small nylon 
clips.  They were pretty worn.  I found some 0.010" flashing and cut two 
pieces as shown in the photos.  I began to put the shafts together but 
got too far before I realized it might be just a tad too tight.  Oh 
well, removed both shafts from the car and tapped it together the rest 
of the way.  It's certainly a bit tight now.  I can't move the two 
shafts apart from each other at all by hand.

It essentially had the same affect as welding the shafts together, which 
I had originally intended not to do.  Oh well.  In hindsight I should 
have snipped one side off similar to what Mike Dailey did.  However, he 
started with 0.015" stock, a little thicker than what I found laying 
around the house; I figured an extra 0.005 would probably be fine.  In 
the end, it will probably work out alright since I figure the nylon 
might wear a bit more.

Job done.  Now to install the ebay Ferrari rack.  I carefully trimmed it 
by hand with a die-grinder and file last night.
