[DeTomaso] New Chapter in the SE US

So where we are...

1) The formation has been blessed

2) Florida folks are trying to reactivate the defunct "Southeastern
Panteras", so that name is off the table

3) We will go by "Southern States" until such time that we select another
name or confirm it by vote

4) We must have 15 members in the chapter for it to be started

5) You can leave another chapter and be re assigned to this one, let poca
know your wish.

6) You have to join POCA, and you can do that here

7) We will let the membership decide the geographic boundaries, my original
intent was NC, SC, TN, FL, Northern FL, and AL, I have been contacted by
Central and Gulf shores FL, MS, and AR.
All are welcome. Your membership determines our reach.

8) The mission statement of this chapter is simple, to share in the
brotherhood of ownership
and meet virtually at least monthly via a conference line call and to have
at least one and as many as four events per year.   These can be track
days, rally/savenger hunts, tours, motorsports events, concours, etc.  On
our own or with other groups.  I instruct with Hooked on Driving, so there
are any number of racetracks where we could meet enmasse.

9) The rest will come later, we will need a name, officers, a logo, etc.

and give me your contact info so we can move on with the business at hand.
