You are correct that it doesn't have the bypass port. Robin at Skip White Performance who is the Ebay seller told me drilling the bypass port wouldn't void the warranty. The are going to add language in the Ebay add about it not having the bypass port.

In the ebay listing it shows a picture of the water pump that does not have the bypass port. 
Not sure if yours came that way, but here is a link with a stock pump with the port and how to modify your pump if you wish.
