[DeTomaso] Dream Drives for Kids

I agree and have enjoyed the same. The difference is that Dream Drives is at hospitals for sick kids who can't get to a car show.

Once, a band I was in went to the cancer ward at a Children's Hospital and we played a concert, then went room-to-room with a guitar and bongo drums to perform for the kid who were too sick to get out of bed. It was pretty gut-wrenching, but the kids liked it.

Sincerely,

Chris

Funny,
I already do this and have for years... at car shows. In fact just this
weekend I was at two different car shows, one on Saturday and one on Sunday.

Saturday we had probably a half dozen kids and a few adults take a turn
sitting in the drivers seat of the Pantera, getting their photos taken
and admiring the ride. The show was put on by a local Lutheran Church
and I won the Pastor's Choice award.

Sunday was another show and this time we didn't get as many kids coming
through, but we still gave away a few smiles as we let those who wanted
to, sit in the drivers seat and take photos.

All it takes is showing up to a car show and letting kids sit in the
car. It's a blast!
